The Federal Trade Commission is making available more tools for entities impacted by the Red Flags Rule, which will now become effective August 1, 2009.  The rule impacts public utilities and all other entities that regularly permit deferred payments for goods or services.  The League also has available sample policies and ordinances on our website.
