As the 2010 Census approaches it is important for each community to assure that every resident is counted.  These numbers are used to determine how your community will be represented in both Lansing and Washington and how state and federal dollars for programs such as revenue sharing and community development block grants are determined.  This is why its important to make every effort to make sure everyone is counted.  The League is working with the Nonprofit Complete Count Census Committee and has developed a webpage.  Be sure to check here often for updated informatin.  The Census Bureau will also have a booth at convention.  Be sure to stop by with any questions you might have.
