Back in August I did a blog asking our communities to be careful when signing METRO Act permit applications because phone companies were sending applications with changes that were detrimental to our communities.   This week we learned that phone companies are urging local officials to oppose the FCC's net neutrality efforts. We ask that our members be cautious and read the fine print on anything sent to them by cable and telecommunications companies.  Being diligent in examining the content these documents will help protect our communities' interest.
