The transportation budget is making its way through the final process and the efforts to shift money away from local bus and operating and the bus capital line items has been rejected.

The League appreciates conference committee members for voting to reinstate funding for public transit in accordance with the governor's original recommendation and applauds all those who contacted legislators to keep the funds in place.
