The Michigan Great Lakes Wind Council will be holding public hearings on offshore wind energy development.  The meetings will be held around the state in Saginaw/Bay City on March 25, Escanaba on April 14 and Muskegon on May 4 in order to get input from the public on proposed offshore development.

Further detail is in the attached notice (below). The Council issued a report in September 2009 with criteria for identifying the best areas for offshore wind energy development.
