On Wednesday, May 17 at noon the House Government Operations Committeee will be holding a hearing on HB 4522, a bill amending PA 312. This bill contains important changes the League has been pushing including making ability to pay the top consideration and internal comparables. 

As introduced the bill includes the expansion language that was troublesome last year; however, the bill will be substituted to remove that language.

Contact your legislators to let them know that HB 4522 is important to help our communities control costs!
