A few weeks ago I indicated that the online public notice bills were introduced. A few more bills were introduced this week to ensure this applies to villages as well. So all of the bill numbers are: HBs 5845, 5847, 5848, 5853, 5916 and 5917. We're working closely with the Michigan Association of Counties, the Michigan Townships Association and the Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks to get this legislation moving. All of the associations will be meeting with legislators to discuss with them the timeliness and importance of this time. Contact your legislators to let them know how this legislation would help your community!
