One more week...

You may have all gathered that working in Lansing can be crazy.  I have weeks where I can barely even remember where I'm supposed to be going because it's generally three places at once. Next week, the legislature takes its two week spring break, and it's coming just at the right time. I can definitely use a few days to dig out my desk and catch up. What are we expecting this week? A lot. Tomorrow the House has already posted for the electricity shut-off legislation. The rest of the week? Budgets. All of the budgets are expected to pass from the respective chambers where they began by the end of the week. With Summer's hard work, General Government (i.e. revenue sharing) is looking pretty good for us this week. So we may have a few long days, but then we have a few weeks to catch our breath before it all starts again...
