U.S. Department of Transportation Ray LaHood has announced that $527 million will be made available for a third round of TIGER grants. Funding for this third road comes from the Fiscal Year 2011 budget passed by the Congress and signed into law by the President this past April. States, local governments, and others will have until this fall to prepare their applications.
The USDOT will be hosting a hosting a seminar on applying and competing for a TIGER grant on Monday, July 18th from 10am - 1pm.
