With the many new legislators starting this month, League Lansing staff is busy setting up “meet and greets” with each of them (the first of the meetings taking place tomorrow).  During these meetings, we will introduce the League and all of its services to the legislators as well as highlight our big issues and positions.

This is a great opportunity for all of you to do “meet and greets” with your Representatives and Senators as well.  Building a relationship from the beginning and maintaining that relationship plays a vital role in how successful our advocacy efforts here at the League are.  Being able to contact you for help in reaching out to your legislators is what will make us victorious these next two years.
