In case you haven't already figure it out, sometimes it takes a little while to get things done in Lansing.  We need to make sure we draft language properly so there's no need to make make corrections in a few years.  The legislation to allow public notices to be published online is moving along nicely. I had an excellent meeting this morning with the staff of the sponsor and the bill drafter.  This isn't really an easy fix, and in order to do this properly, it looks like we'll have to amend a number of statutes. That being said, the effort is definitely worth it.  I'll keep updating you on this issue over the coming weeks.
