This afternoon the Senate passed SBs 485-492, bills that would prohibit minimum staffing requirements through charters, ordinances or resolutions.

The bill does allow for communities to include minimum staffing requirements in a ratified collective bargaining agreement.  These bills will be taken up in the House next week.
