The second Michigan Public Policy Survey, a joint project of the League and the University of Michigan Center for Local, State and Urban Policy (CLOSUP), along with the Michigan Townships Association and Michigan Association of Counties is coming soon to the mailbox of local officials across Michigan.  This statewide survey is designed to gather your opinions, give voice to your concerns, raise the profile of local government issues and provide you with a look at how communites around the state are dealing with a wide variety of challenges.  Local officials will shortly receive a e-mail link to the questionnaire.  Your participation is crucial to gaining a understanding of the issues you're facing and enabling the League to gain better insight into the needs and concerns of our member communities.  If you have questions about this research study, you can contact Dr. Debra Horner at UM-CLOSUP, 734-647-4091 or closup-mpps@umich.edu.  Thank you for supporting this effort.
