This year’s MAM Summer Workshop will be held August 10-12 at the Thomas Edison Inn in Port Huron.  This year’s theme, “Placemaking: Creating a Catalyst for Change,” will feature topics centered on the League’s 21st Century Communities Assets.

Municipal leaders are leading the way in reinventing their communities to survive and thrive in the 21st century. At this summer workshop you’ll get an inside look at successful 21c3 projects, and learn how to grow your own local entrepreneurs, develop green initiatives and repurpose commercial industrial strips. You’ll also see how civic engagement can help you reach those goals faster and easier.

Registration information can be found here! This year, there is a reduced rate for MAM members and their designees (councilmember, manager, etc)!  The early bird rate (register before July 15) is $110.  The regular registration fee (register after July 15) is $135 for MAM members and their designees.  Not a member of MAM?  We would still love to have you!  The early bird registration fee is $175 and the regular registration fee is $210.

If you would like to become a member of MAM, feel free to contact me!
