This May 17th will see transit adovactes from across the state converge on the Capitol as part of the "Lets Get Moving" advocacy day.

As part of the LGM coalition the League is encouraging local officials, transit system operators, riders and other transit supporters to make their way to Lansing to help promote and protect transit services.   The day will begin at 10 am with a briefing, and include a luncheon with legislators.

The May election showed, that across the state, the public supports additional transit options. With the Legislature proposing 8-10 percent cuts for public transit, the LGM adovacy day is the perfect time to make the case before state policy makers.
