The Michigan Economic Development Corporation is offering a series of CATeam (Community Assistance Team) and CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) trainings for local units of government and their partners.  Please see the below information for dates, locations, further details and links to registration.  There is a fee for each workshop and registration is limited to 40 participants at each location.

The CATeam will provide overviews on the Michigan Brownfield and CDBG programs and community leaders can discuss challenges and share solutions with each other. The CATeam will also be available to discuss specific projects and topics.

The CDBG training will
focus on CDBG grant administration including federal laws and regulations, and attendees will learn about environmental review, Uniform Relocation Act, labor standards, record keeping requirements and more. Firsttime grantees or those looking to apply for a grant in the next two years are highly encouraged to attend.
