The Michigan Department of Transportation has announced project application deadlines for the Fiscal Year 2013 Federal High Risk Rural Road program and 2013 Federal Local Safety Program.
Funds in the amount of $3 million are estimated to be available for the High Risk Rural Road program and local agencies have until July 1 to submit eligible projects and supporting information. A total of $15.1 million ($12.1 million federal and $3 million local match) is available for the Local Safety Program. Applications for funding for this program are due by July 29, 2011.
