The MI Department of Transportation is seeking public comment on its latest draft 5-year plan, for construction and maintenance for 2010 through 2014. This draft plan identifies the current problems that the state faces from an unsure federal road funding program and from declining state transportation revenues. MDOT continues to illustrate that it will be unable to match all available federal transportation revenue in 2011, losing nearly $500 million in federal revenue that first year alone.
