Local communities are urged to add their voice to the League and others (National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors, National League of Cities, National Association of Counties and US Conference of Mayors) that have joined to file a Petition for Reconsideration with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in regard to a part of the commissions recent ruling developiong a "shot clock for cell tower siting application review. A cover memo and template for providing comments is provided below.  Comments are due by 5 pm on January 22nd.  Arnold Weinfeld is Director of Strategic Initiatives and Federal Affairs for the Michigan Municipal League.
