The Michigan Department of Transportation is encouraging local road agencies to submit candidate projects for funding from the state's Local Bridge Program for the 2013 fiscal year.  Local bridge project applications can be submitted for bridge replacement, rehabilitation and preventive maintenance activities.  Applications are due by June 1, 2010, with a limit of five applications per road agency.  Please see the attached document for further application information.  Chris Hackbarth works for the Michigan Municipal League handling transportation issues.  He can be reached at 517-908-0303 or email at chackbarth@mml.org.
