With the budget completed for the FY 2010-2011, the Legislature will likely not be meeting in session in Lansing for the month of October.  They will likely not be back in session until after the November 2nd general election.

The House has officially posted for session every Wednesday for October, but has cancelled each session day so far, as expected. The remaining posted session days are October 20th and 27th. The House has posted for session on November 4th, 9th, and 10th, then will break for the hunting and Thanksgiving recess. They then are schedule to meet the first and second weeks of December, then adjourn for the year. You can see the House session schedule here.

The Senate has posted for session on October 20th and it is unkown yet if they will actually be meeting and holding votes on that day or not. They are then scheduled to be back in session on November 3rd and 4th, and the whole second week of November before breaking for hunting and Thanksgiving. Like the House, the Senate is scheduled to meet the first two weeks of December before adjourning for the year. You can see the Senate session schedule here.
