The League testified on the importance of revenue sharing before the Senate General Government Subcommittee of Appropriations this week. The same hearing was held on the House side two weeks ago. The committees are taking testimony before the Governor announces the details of his "new program" in place of the current statutory revenue sharing program, which is expected to come out next week. Committee chairs are hoping to start moving budget bills after they return from break the second week of April.
