Inbetween some sessions I had the chance to have some good discussions with some key leaders on tax reforms and government restructuring. As is the case with this conference...there are very good conversations that occur because of all the legislators and various interest groups in attendance. I am now listening to a session regarding entrepreneurial diversification in Michigan. Ari Emanuel was the speaker and now there is a panel discussion. I have to say....Ari was....ok. I didn't really get a whole lot from him other than a better understanding of how he succeeded in business. He did say he thought the west coast needed to support the midwest because they would not succeed in business without us.
