Yesterday the Michigan Public Service Commission issued its
annual report on the status of cable competition as required by
PA 480 of 2006. The report concludes three new cable providers have entered the market, there are more cable customers than in 2008 and the number of complaints filed with the Commission is about the same. Some issues (mainly dealing with PEG channels) have yet to be resolved more than three years after the passage of this law. Are you satisfied with the status of cable and cable competition in your community?
