The National League of Cities and the National Association of Regional Councils is seeking input from city officials on ways to streamline the project delivery process to decrease the time it takes to build a transportation project.

Examples of specific barriers that communities have faced and are facing in delivering transportation projects, as well as any other regulatory barriers and concerns faced in using federal funds for community projects is being sought.

If you have such examples, along with suggestions for improvements, use the response form below and send it to Joe Patterson of the NARC at intern3@narc.org   Also copy me as well.

Arnold Weinfeld is Director of Strategic Initiatives and Federal Affairs for the Michigan Municipal League. He can be reached at 517-908-0304 or by e-mail.
