This Wednesday, April 13th, the House General Government subcommittee on Appropriations will be meeting to unveil their version of revenue sharing for FY 2011-12 in HB 4274, and vote the bill out of committee to the full House floor before it goes to the Senate for consideration. To this point, the Governor has laid out his suggestions for the next year of statutory revenue sharing - being a reduction of 1/3 of that funding to $200 million and placing 3 types of criteria locals need to implement in order to obtain that funding. How much the House plans to go along with that proposal has not yet been released. The committee will be meeting at noon on Wednesday and we will be sure to update you on what their budget proposal is once it's officially released.
