This morning the House Local Government Committee heard testimony on HBs 4760-4765 which prohibit charter provisions that require minimum staffing.

This legislation would be applied prospectively and would not affect communities who currently have minimum staffing charter provisions. The committee did not vote on the legislation, but we anticipate they will vote on it before the summer break.
