In other binding arbitration expansion news, the House Labor Committee voted to report HB 6154, a bill that would create a new act to extend binding arbitration to county corrections officers. The House committee again voted on party lines with the Repubilcan caucus voting no.

Expanding binding arbitration would greatly increase costs to counties, and the League is opposed to this legislation.
