On Thursday morning the House Local, Intergovernmental and Regional Affairs Committee held testimony on bills to amend the Urban Cooperation Act (HBs 4309-4312). The bills would remove the "nobody may be harmed" language that is a barrier to local collaboration and cooperation.
The League testified in support of the bills, and the committee intends to vote on the bills in the next few weeks.
