This afternoon the House Government Operations adopted a substitute for HB 4522 (seen here:HB4522(H-1)_Substitute.pdf (21.41 kb)

The committee took testimony on the substitute bill but didn't vote it out. The League supports the bill, and it's opposed by the firefighters and the FOP.

We would like to have this bill pass the House before summer recess and will be working toward that goal. Contact your legislators to let them know how important this reform is to your community.
