This afternoon the House adjourned without voting on SB 1072, a bill that would expand PA 312.  Thank you to those members who contacted their legislators. Several legislators mentioned they had heard from League members, and at the end of the day the bill was not voted on.

The League opposes this bill because it is and expansion and does not include a definition of ability to pay.  It is likely this bill will be taken up in session on Tuesday.

Contact your legislators and ask them to vote NO on SB 1072 without an ability to pay amendment!
