I had a chance to meet with Rep. Ebli today, the new Chair of Tax Policy in the House to talk about our issues. I haven't worked with her much in the past and I was very impressed. Rather than me trying to pitch our issues - she jumped right in and was asking questions and we started right into a thoughful discussion. Always a positive start! My positive attitude faded fast though as I left the HOB to find it raining outside. Blah.
