This morning, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation passed SB 254. They agreed with teh Governor and Senate recommendations on reducing local road and bridge funding by $16.26 million. However, they did not agree with the Senate's reduction to the AMTRAK subsidy or the Local Bus Operating Funding and restored both of those programs to the Governor's recommendation. This sets up those items to be debated in a conference committee down the road.
