The U.S. Departments of Labor and Treasury are expected to issue additional guidance this week on various aspects of the health care reform legislation signed into law this year.
Specific areas to be addressed include 1) no pre-existing condition exclusions; 2) no lifetime limits or restricted annual limits until 2014 on "essential health benefits"; and 3) coverage for dependents under 26.
We'll keep you informed as information is released. Meanwhile you can visit www.healthcare.gov to review a list of 2011 requirements and guidelines, to receive news on the healthcare reform law, and to view new guidance as it becomes available.
