Yesterday the House passed HB 4572, a bill creating a hard cap for health care premiums for public employers.
This legislation was amended so the cap is $5,500 for an individual, $11,000 for a couple and $15,000 for a single family.
The House did not pass SB 7, the 80/20 health care premium bill. We expect something to be sent to the Governor next week in terms of health care costs, but negotiations are ongoing.
