Green City = Walkable City

For two years now the League has been a member of CEO's for Cities, a national group that has led us to some fantastic resources for pushing our message about investing in cities to get our economy moving again.  Most recently, CEO's has come out with "City Dividends"  a reserach project that makes the case for developing policies and enacting strategies that will help communities capture real economic gains by improving performance in three key areas.... talent, opportunity and green.  A recent meeting featured Jeff Speck, an urban planner based in Washington, D.C. talking about how cities can achieve the green dividend.
