This week the Governor rolled out a proposal to solve the current year and FY 2011 budgets and revenue sharing was NOT part of the proposal. Her proposal did include a tax amnesty program, cuts to some department budgets and transferring funding from the School Aid budget to community colleges, among other things. However, revenue sharing for the time being has been spared. We will continue to work with legislative leadership to try and prevent any cuts from occuring as the budget process continues. We do expect though, that as the process moves forward if the legislature doesn't support the Governor's proposals, the next thing on the table will be revenue sharing.
