Governor signs minimum staffing bills

Yesterday afternoon the Governor signed SBs 485-492, bills that would prohibit minimum staffing requirements via charter or ordinance.

The new laws, now Public Acts 133-140 of 2011, would still allow minimum staffing to be decided in a collective bargaining agreement.
