General Government Budget Still Not Signed

The Governor has still not signed the General Government budget, which contains revenue sharing. After additional information provided to the League, we are now encouraging the Governor to sign the bills and will be pushing the Legislature for a Supplemental budget bill to replace the drastic reductions in the bill. While we do not support the severe cuts to local communities, if a veto is made without a commitment to replace the funding - we risk losing all of the statutory funding. We now view this as too risky for our members based on the current environment.
