The House Energy & Technology Committee voted unanimously this morning to report HB 5574, a bill that extends the funding for the Michigan Public Service Commission to administer PA 480 of 2006, the Uniform Video Franchising Act.  The funding has a sunset in current law of December 31, 2009.  The funds are paid by the video service providers under the current law and the proposed legislation.
