Full House Supports Locals and Restores $85 Million!

Last night the House of Representatives passed the 2010 General Government budget on a 65-42 vote. The budget retained the $85 million restoration of the revenue sharing cuts that was put in the bill in the Appropriations committee. So, it now heads to a conference committee made up of members of the House and Senate. The legislature is now on a two week recess. It is critical that during this time local officials speak with their legislators and tell them to have the conference committee members support the House passed version.
