I had the opportunity today to join in a webcast from Washington where officials from the Federal Communications Commission, Department of Commerce and Department of Agriculture held a public hearing to discuss broadband funding opportunities within the stimulus bill.  Things will be moving fast with notification on the first round expected sometime between April and June once the rules are in place.  All three agencies pledged to work together as rules are developed.  They are encouraging input from stakeholders at a series of public meetings to be held beginning next week.
