Senate Environment and Public Works Chair, Sen. Barbara Boxer, is saying she will move both her proposed two-year bill and a four-month extension of the transportation funding act when the Senate returns from summer recess on September 8th.

Boxer recently made the remarks to a group of stakeholders late last week.

According to reports, the extension will clean, meaning no policy or funding level changes for the four-month time frame.  As for her two-year bill, it is still unclear where funds for the additional $12 billion will come from.
