After months of listening to the concerns of local and state government officials from around the country, the Federal Highway Administration has announced that it will eliminate or extend a majority for the compliance dates for replacing street signs.

Your comments as well as those of the League and others around the country about the cost of complying with the rules convinced FHWA to give in on the issue.

The proposed rule change will be published in the Federal Register.
