The Michigan Bureau of Energy Systems has announced a series of workshops for non-entitlement communities to discuss the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program that is being funded through the Recovery Act.  The workshops will provide information on funding opportunities under the EECBG program, the application process and timelines.  The League has been actively working with the Bureau to ensure communities are ready to apply for the funds.  This includes establishment of the "Green Communities Challenge" program.    Register now for these workshops  to learn about this funding opportunity and the Green Communities Challenge.
