This morning the House Energy & Techonology Committee took additional testimony on HB 5334, a bill that would allow yard waste in certain landfills to allow the capture of methane gas from that yard waste. The League testified in support of the legislation while much of the remaining testimony was opposition from the composting industry.  The committee did not vote on the legislation but is expected to vote in the coming weeks.
