Congress delays digital television switch

The House has decided to go along with Senate legislation to delay the dtv switch until June 12 and with the Presidents signature all but assured it appears that the 6 million or so Americans who weren't ready will still be able to watch Survivor, American Idol and Superstars of Dance for now.  Of course there's still the issue of funding to revive the converter box program.  No doubt, this too will make its way in to the stimulus bill now under consideration.  Maybe this will be the program that puts it over $1 trillion.  Of course, Congress knows that this program is just as important as any other that will be funded in the bill.
