The Michigan Complete Streets Coalition, of which the League is a partner member, reports that MDOT will continue to give Transportation Enhancement project priority to communities with complete streets ordinances and resolutions.

The League is pleased with MDOT's commitment, as communities continue to move forward with complete streets.  Michigan already has nearly 40 communities with complete streets ordianances and resolutions.

The Michigan Municipal League strongly supported passage of Michigan's Complete Streets law as part of an overall effort for communities to become more walkable.
