The Senate passed SB 566, 567, and 568 on a near-unanimous vote. These bills set up a new Community Revitalization Program, which is supposed to replace the eliminated Brownfield and Historic credits.  This fund will tap the $100 million in dollars appropriated in the budget for this year.  The projects are reviewed for certain conditions, including jobs, walkability, density, affect on community, etc.  Also utilizing that $100 million appropriation will be the Business Development Program (replacement for the MEGA credits), which is expected to be up in committee next week in the Senate.
