Does your community have a "census coordinator"? If so, please pass that persons name along as the League is working with the Michigan Non-Profit Assocation to assist with disseminating information on the census.  MNPA will pass along the name of your census coordinator to an area non-profit organization who will contact you about working together to ensure your residents are aware of the upcoming census.  The census starts April 1 and making sure all of your residents, including "snowbirds" (see document below) participate to be counted as part of your community is vital.  Please e-mail the name of your census coordinator to Arnold Weinfeld at the League.  Arnold Weinfeld is Director of Strategic Initiatives and Federal Affairs for the Michigan Municipal League. He can be reached at 517-908-0304 or by e-mail.
